Pretty Bones - Tens List

1.) My Macbook Pro.
2.) My iTunes library/YouTube. I usually listen to music while I write, especially if I’m working on
an emotional scene, and sometimes will find a certain song on YouTube that fits the mood of my
story and listen to it basically on repeat. I often listen to the same songs when working on a book.
3.) Coffee. Preferably Starbucks coffee. I can’t start my writing day without a cup of strong coffee!
4.) Internet access. I like to check Facebook every once in a while when I’m writing and need a
minute or two to take a quick break.
5.) Snacks. Sometimes sour candy, sometimes almonds.
6.) A comfortable chair.
7.) An inspiring environment, whether in my bedroom at my desk or in my favourite Starbucks
location which is in a bookstore in downtown Toronto.
8.) My flashstick. I’m always worried about losing what I’ve just written and back up my work after
every writing day.
9.) My Moleskin, for writing down ideas.
10.) A story idea (this is probably the most important need for writing!)
