I'm not subtle. I say what I think, even if sometimes it gets me in trouble. (Which, let's be honest, it
usually does.) I'm tough as nails on the outside, but sensitive deep down. (Not that I'd ever admit it, even
under extreme torture.) Like my boyfriend, the vampire Jareth, I'm not so good at sharing my feelings
with others. And lastly, I'm fiercely protective of my family. If anyone were to dare start something with
my twin sister Sunny (who, let's face it, isn't half as kick ass as me!) I'm fully prepared to make them
sorry they were even born.
2. Your adventures have been crazy and extreme at times any favorites?
I guess I'd have to say my first assignment for Slayer Inc., when I was asked to investigate the owner of a
blood bar who was out to poison the Blood Coven leaders. Mainly because that's where I met Jareth. At
first we didn't get along so well--he was completely pig-headed and hated me because I was working for
Slayer Inc., the organization that killed his family. (Not like it was my choice, by the way.) In any case,
during my mission, I got bitten by the vampire Maverick and injected with the virus. I was this close to
dying when Jareth decided to make me a vampire--his Blood Mate--even though it meant him losing his
vampire powers himself. So romantic!
3. Jareth, Oh Jareth! Lucky you right?
I know, right? He is the best vampire ever. I mean, you'd think a lot of vampires would be totally goth,
right? But no! Most of them don't even like the color black, go figure. But Jareth--oh Jareth! He loves the
clothes, the music, the dancing--and he looks so good in guy-liner! Sigh. Of course once he was able to
go out in the sun for the first time in, like, a gazillion years he took up surfing and became sort of a beach
bum. But whatever. He's still loyal and passionate and brave and everything any girl could possibly want
in a vampire boyfriend! If only he'd get rid of that dorky Batman shirt...
4. After everything that has gone on how do you feel about your sister?
I would die for Sunny. Seriously. I mean, yeah, she can be naive and even a pain in the butt sometimes,
but she's my sister--my better half. And I would do anything to protect her. Though, I have to say, now
that she has her fairy powers, she's pretty kick ass herself--and doesn't need as much saving as she used
to. But that's okay. I love her anyway and I'll always be there if/when she needs me.
5. Vampires, Slaying, Fairies, How do you feel about all this?
Oh geez. If I had only known what I was getting myself into when I first signed up for my vampire
certification class--whew! It's kind of ridiculous now--me being a vampire, a slayer, and a fairy--all rolled
into one. And it's kind of dangerous, too, seeing as the rogue group of Slayer Inc., The Alphas, are still
interested in creating an army of vampiric-fae hybrids to take over the world. My blood is invaluable to
them--which makes me a wanted woman. So, yeah, life's not easy when you're as supernaturally packed
as me. But what can you do?
