I have to say after reading what this book was about, I was only mildly interested but i love angel stories so I had to give it a try. Much to my suprise and happiness the blurb about this book does nothing for it. A fantastic storyline and amazing characters that you empathize with immediately.
You meet Griffin at the early age of 13, under the eye of his "mentor" which immediately tears at your heartstrings seeing what poor Griffin has to deal with. He then gets switched to another mentor and wow, does the story take off from there.
Fin becomes a older teenager with something to prove, he grows into himself and out of his shyness and fears. He falls in love and makes you feel like your part of that love. Darby does an amazing job describing events, loves, and the bond between characters as well as an amazing backdrop of the Terrae Angeli. A well written book and one that I am looking forward to reading what happens next. Thank you Darby for sending me a review copy and surprising me with this story.
