I am Senior Cupid X, and I am going to be truthful. I have never really talked directly to mortals before. Cupids keep to themselves, invisible, only interfering here or there. If everyone waited around to be hit by an arrow there would be a drop in the mariage rate. There just are not THAT many of us floating around.
The 2011 Cupid Challenge has been leaked to the public. That is why I am here. The five Cupids in this years Challenge to match the most unlikely couple have gone public. I have no idea which of them started talking, but they did. Now I am left dealing with the "reality show" that being a Cupid has become.
The Cupids are tweeting. TWEETING! It is getting as bad as the pro-athletes. Tweets about sitting in a tree and taking aim at such and such target. They started a hash tag for readers to follow. #cgw11 - I had to research what a hash tag is.
Anyway - as long as this public scrutiny is going on I have decided to release the duty of picking the winner this year. Yep. It is up to readers to go through all of the Cupids' stories. Who they matched and how in the anthology that has been released. You can buy the book, Cupid Gone Wild, at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
FREE if you want to read my story - I won the Challenge in 1981, it is at ARe - Love Transposed
Oh and the voting opens on the 4th - Poll and a Kindle giveaway is at the eTreasures Publishing Blog -
I hope you enjoy this "Cupid: Behind the Scenes" look. I do not anticipate another leak like this any time soon.
