Andrew Klavan- The Long Way Home

The Long Way Home
by Andrew Klavan

Synopsis:
Sometimes you have to go home to find out who you really are
Charlie West went to bed one night an ordinary high school student. He woke up a hunted man. Terrorists are trying to kill him. The police want to arrest him for the stabbing death of his best friend. He doesn't know whose side he's one or who he can trust. With his pursuers closing in on every side, Charlie makes his way back to his hometown to find some answers. There, holed up in an abandoned mansion, he's joined by his friends in a desperate attempt to discover the truth about a murder he can't remember-and the love he can never forget.
"A thriller that reads like a teenage version of 24...an adrenaline-pumping adventure."

My take on this book sounded amazing from just reading the quick synopsis, I unfortunately have not had the chance to read book one of this series, something that after reading this book definitely makes me want to check it out.
This book is action packed, it is about Charlie West who has been accused of being a terrorist and murderer, and his quest on trying to prove his innocence. Through his journey of trying to clear his name, and solving clues to find the actual murderer, I got completely lost in this book. Which lately hasn't been happening. I love Andrew's writing style and how he makes you relate with Charlie throughout this whole book. It keeps you going and not wanting to put the book down, I would most certainly recommend this book to any adult or teen who is looking for a nice action packed emotional book, on one persons journey to clear their name.
